Ans: Health means our ability to remain free of illness and injuries. But health is not only about disease. Apart from disease getting clean water or pollution free environment have a good effect on health, on the other hand scarcity of adequate food for eating, dwelling in cramped conditions affect our health and they will be prone to illness. To be dull, inactive, anxious or scared for long stretches of time are not healthy. We should be free of mental strain. All of these various aspects of our lives are a part of health. 2. Can we consider slums as healthy? Why? Ans: Slums are not healthy. Slum areas do not have clean drinking water facility, adequate food for eating for poor’s and pollution free environment to live.
