Students Comment : Ma'am, in the case of rounding off to the nearest ten, it is told that if it is less than 5, then it would be rounded off to 0 otherwise 10. But in the case of nearest 100s and 1000s, it is 49 and 499. Why?

    Students Comment : MAM as per the rule given in case of estimating to nearest Hundreds, it is given that Less than 49 is rounded to zero otherwise 100. Then what will be the round off for 149 to nearest 100?
